After configuring a port for the Terminal application, you will need to choose between one of
two operation modes: TERM_ASC and TERM_BIN. The default mode, TERM_ASC (short
for Terminal ASCII), supports 8 terminal sessions. The other option, TERM_BIN (short for
Terminal Binary) only supports 1 session.
Configuring TERM_ASC Mode
TERM_ASC supports 8 terminal sessions for each terminal. Hot keys are used to switch between
different sessions.
1. Move the cursor to the Mode column for the port and press Enter.

2. Use the arrow keys to highlight TERM_ASC, and then press Enter.
